Founded by music producer Sam Phillips in Memphis, Tennessee in February 1952, Sun Records was the first label to record Elvis Presley, Charlie Rich, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash. Prior to that, Sun Records had concentrated mainly on African-American musicians because Phillips loved rhythm and blues, and wanted to bring it to a wider, and more diverse audience. The music of many Sun Records musicians helped lay part of the foundation of late 20th-century rock and roll, and influenced many younger musicians, including the Beatles.

Between the years of 1953 and 1955, Elvis Presley recorded at least 24 songs at Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. Of the 24 known taped songs, only 22 survived, and ten were released by Sun as Elvis's first five singles. The recordings reflected the wide variety of music that could be heard in Memphis at the time, including blues, rhythm & blues, gospel, country & western, hillbilly, rockabilly and bluegrass. Because of the recordings' historical significance in the foundation of rock and roll music, they were inducted into the U.S. Congress's National Recording Registry in 2002.

This Infant Baby Rib Bodysuit is made from 100% combed ringspun cotton (Heather is 93/7 combed ringspun cotton/polyester.), and perfect for your little rockers. It features flatlock seams, double-needle rib binding on neck, shoulders, sleeves and leg openings, reinforced three-snap closure on binding, and CPSIA Compliant - tracking label in side seam. Safe to machine wash and tumble dry on low.
